Mandatory Motor Vehicle Inspection
Tanzania Police Force Corporation Sole (TPFCS) is establishing Mandatory Vehicle Inspection Centres (MVICs), certification and registration systems for new and used vehicles based on established safety requirements combined with routine inspections. TPFCS is implementing a system to ensure that vehicles on the road meet safety and road worthiness standard. The centres have required technology and equipment, including testing devices, tools, measuring devices, customer waiting area, display area, and an approved inspection test area.

it is the implementation of a comprehensive approach to security that addresses various aspects, including public safety, crime prevention, emergency response, and community engagement at large. It is implemented in four strategic cities of Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Mwanza and Arusha.

It encompasses the Use of advanced surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to monitor public spaces, real-time data collection and analysis. Explore the use of facial recognition and license plate recognition for identifying potential threats.
Data Analytics: Utilize data analytics to identify crime hotspots and trends.
